The Add Venture Forum (AVF) February 2025 successfully brought together students and startups, fostering meaningful connections and inspiring future innovators. Held on February 28 at The Meeting Point, the forum welcomed 25 students from diverse academic backgrounds-including undergraduate, master's, and PhD levels-representing institutions such as the National University of undergraduate, master's, and PhD levels-representing institutions such as the National University of Singapore (NUS), Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Nanyang Technological University (NTU), James Cook University, and the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD). Five deep-tech startups-Crunch Cutlery, Esco Aster, EYO, ProfilePrint, and Shandi-actively participated, alongside Leave a Nest, which also hosted a booth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event kicked off with an opening address, reinforcing the theme: \"The world of the arts is a place where people can learn from each other and be inspired by each other. \"Envision how you can bridge your skills and passions with a company's vision, creating a future of shared growth and success. .\"<\/em> This message set the stage for an engaging and impactful session ahead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A key highlight of this year's AVF was the introduction of the Entrepreneurship Workshop<\/strong>The workshop encouraged students to explore how they could align their passions with real-world applications-hether through with real-world applications-whether through intrapreneurship<\/strong>, by driving innovation within existing companies, or by venturing into entrepreneurship<\/strong>. It also served as a launchpad for an upcoming venture-building program designed for aspiring entrepreneurs and researchers eager to develop solutions that enrich and fulfill human lives. Following the workshop, the five participating startups took the stage to pitch their businesses, offering insights into their missions and This was followed by four structured booth sessions<\/strong>To maximise relevance and impact, each student was pre-assigned a personalized list of four companies to visit, tailored to their academic backgrounds and career interests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event concluded with closing remarks that reiterated AVF's core message-encouraging students to align their career paths with their skills, interests, and passions.
