NEDO事業 2024年度「大学発スタートアップにおける経営人材確保支援事業(MPM)」に採択されました

We are pleased to announce that LEVANES Corporation has been selected by the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO) for the "Project to Support University Startups in Securing Management Personnel (MPM)" (hereinafter referred to as "the Project") for fiscal year 2024.

This project aims to diversify routes to acquire management personnel for university-launched startups and to create and grow university-launched startups by identifying human resources who are interested in starting their own business or participating in the management of a startup (hereinafter referred to as "management personnel") and matching them with technology seeds from universities and other university-launched startups. The program aims to diversify routes for university startups to acquire managerial talent and to create and grow such talent.

Since 2014, RIVERNESS has been promoting the "Tech Planter" program for pre-startup researchers and venture companies just after startup, with the aim of building an ecosystem to discover and nurture business seeds in the real tech field. Furthermore, in 2016, we launched the "Regional Tech Planter" program, which aims to create an ecosystem for the creation of new industries in the region in collaboration with local governments, local banks, universities, and companies, etc. As of April 2024, we have discovered more than 3,500 teams in Japan and overseas, and about half of them are pre-startup teams. Half of them are pre-startup teams.

In the course of these nationwide activities, we are particularly aware that regional universities face particular challenges in terms of funding and human resources compared to those in the Tokyo metropolitan area, so this project will develop a route to acquire management personnel during the start-up phase for university-launched start-ups in the region that face challenges in finding management personnel. From the viewpoint that in the start-up phase, a mindset that aligns "value recognition" is more important than matching backgrounds and abilities or the accuracy of business plans, we target young people under the age of 40 who are candidates for management positions in the fields of science and technology, and aim to form management teams while providing programs with three educational perspectives (1) Management team development, (2) Management team development, and (3) Management team formation.

We will be recruiting researchers from regional universities who aim to start their own businesses, as well as young people in their 40s or younger who are interested in social implementation of their research results and entrepreneurship. Please contact us if you are interested.
