Liberaware, a developer of ultra-narrow space inspection drones, will participate in the Ad Venture Forum Tokyo!

【参加学生募集中】超狭小空間点検ドローン開発のLiberawareがアド・ベンチャーフォーラム東京に参加決定!

Ltd. will hold a career forum for R&D ventures in Tokyo on November 10, 2024, for young researchers, including master's, doctoral, and post-doctoral students, who are conducting research at universities and graduate schools, to recruit research personnel. Liberaware, Inc., a developer of the world's lowest-capacity drone for inspecting and surveying ultra-narrow spaces, has been selected to participate in this forum.

Founded in 2016, Liberaware's vision is to "Visualize Invisible Risks" and through the development of inspection drones and data editing/analysis technology, we have realized the inspection of "narrow, dark, and dangerous" spaces that were previously considered difficult. IBIS2, our ultra-confined space inspection drone, can instead inspect places that are dangerous to humans, such as waterways with risks of toxic gas or lack of oxygen, behind ceilings with dust, and high places where scaffolding is required for inspection. This is a venture that will fundamentally change the way indoor facility inspections are conducted by thoroughly visualizing unseen risks that could not be detected by conventional inspection methods. The company raised a total of 2.5 billion yen and was listed on the Tokyo Growth Market in July 2024.

While working as a researcher at Chiba University, Mr. Minh was involved in the development of a robot to investigate the inside of the Fukushima nuclear power plant in the face of the accident. However, he was unable to overcome the debris with conventional robots, and this experience inspired him to develop a drone. Today, we continue to expand the scope of our drone activities while collaborating with many industries, including infrastructure and construction. We are also expanding our business overseas, and are looking to expand our operations not only in Asia, but also in Europe and the United States.

We are looking for people who are passionate about "creating new industries with technologies originating in Japan. Students, graduate students, post-doctoral fellows, and others who want to take on the challenge of world-changing R&D are invited to participate in the Adventure Forum.
