On 29 December, 2024, a special seminar titled "Change the world through Research X Business!" was conducted, with the theme of "Showing students the appeal of working in a venture".

In the first session of the series, Ikegami, CFO of Liverness, and Machida, representative of fabula, spoke on the topic, "What is the right mindset for CxO personnel? Ikegami, CFO of LIVERNESS, and Machida, representative of fabula, took the stage.

Ikegami shared his experience of founding Liverness and the competencies (behavioral traits common to people who achieve results) necessary for CxOs, while Machida told participants about starting a company with two people he has known since elementary school as friends and the appeal of working in a venture company.

During the Q&A session, through interactive exchanges with participants, they shared their experiences that peers value empathy and mindset more than skills, and that each person's strengths are used to determine role assignments.

Through a series of three seminars, participants will be introduced to the option of working in a venture company and starting their own business.
