Ltd. is pleased to announce the launch of a new career forum for young researchers, such as master's, doctoral, and post-doctoral researchers working at universities and graduate schools, called "REVANES, Inc.Ad Venture Forum Tokyowill be held on Saturday, April 19, 2025. MeeBio Corporation, which aims to solve global social issues such as de-carbonization and de-oil through "light x bio manufacturing," has been selected to participate in this forum. Students, graduate students, post-doctoral fellows, and others who wish to take on the challenge of world-changing research and development are welcome to attend the Ad Venture Forum, where they can interact with the company.

Solving global social issues of decarbonization and petroleum-free society through "light x bio manufacturing

MeeBio Inc. is a biotech manufacturing startup that utilizes "photoswitch protein" technology to control the metabolic pathways of microorganisms through the use of light. This technology will enable a breakthrough in the existing production process by improving the efficiency of bio-based chemical raw material production in the fermentation production using microorganisms. The company has won various Grand Prix awards for this unique technology, which originated in the Moritoshi Sato Laboratory of the University of Tokyo, and for the significant impact it will have on society when commercialized (decarbonization, de-petroleumization). It is also scheduled to be exhibited in the "Osaka Healthcare Pavilion" at the 2025 Osaka/Kansai Expo. This start-up company is expected to use this technology to spread research tools that will excite researchers and implement them in society in areas that will be important to society in the future, such as drug discovery.

Venture companies that create new industries and change conventional concepts require not only the development of solutions, but also a wide variety of "research and development" in areas such as education and human resource development.
