Ltd. is pleased to announce the launch of a new career forum for young researchers, such as master's, doctoral, and post-doctoral researchers working at universities and graduate schools, called "REVANES, Inc.Ad Venture Forum Tokyowill be held on Saturday, April 19, 2025. Plantex Corporation, the developer of the world's first "fully enclosed plant factory," has been selected to participate in this forum. Students, graduate students, post-doctoral fellows, and others who wish to take on the challenge of world-changing research and development are cordially invited to attend the Ad Venture Forum, where they can interact with the company.

Creation of a "Plant Manufacturing Industry

With the effects of abnormal weather and climate change occurring in many regions, plant factories, which can stably produce high quality vegetables, are rapidly gaining attention as a food supply system that ranks alongside open-field cultivation.

Plantex is a fully enclosed plant factory venture. Combining knowledge of agriculture and engineering, Plantex has succeeded in dramatically increasing productivity by creating cultivation environment condition control technology that precisely controls more than 20 conditions, including temperature and light intensity. This technology maximizes the inherent potential of crops and enables safe, stable, and resource-saving production, which was not possible with conventional open-field cultivation. The company has already begun joint research with a supermarket chain on the sale of vegetables and a pharmaceutical company on the cultivation of medicinal plants in a plant factory.

In 2024, we are participating in a project led by the Fukushima International Research and Education Institute (F-REI) to "develop RI imaging technologies that contribute to improved crop productivity and sustainable crop production, and demonstrate the production methods derived," and have begun research in collaboration with nine universities and research institutions in Japan.
