Entry for the "Deep Tech Entrepreneurship Development Program," which aims to create teams for social implementation, is now open!
LEVANES Corporation is implementing the Kyoto Deep Tech Commercialization Support Project with the City of Kyoto from July 2025.release(See Section 2.1.2.).
When researchers think about commercialization, it is necessary to make "friends" who can think about the future together before starting a business. Having colleagues who can think together about strategies to commercialize research results in order to change the world is a great strength for commercialization.
With a view to creating deep tech startups in Kyoto, we will implement a program to support the commercialization of research seeds.
This program brings together researchers and entrepreneurs to support the first steps toward social implementation and entrepreneurship, while multiplying their strengths and aspirations.
This program is open to individual researchers with the following issues
- Interested in management and social implementation of entrepreneurship and research, but lack business acumen
- Want to team up with like-minded people but lack opportunities to meet
- Looking to start a business, but don't have a supporter close by who understands deep tech startups
Through a process in which participants with different backgrounds work together as a team to refine their business concepts, we will nurture the soil in which the next generation of deep tech startups will be born in Kyoto.
Researchers who wish to pursue commercialization in earnest are encouraged to consider entering the program.
