In 1983, he joined Yamada Shokai Co. He has been in the back-office consistently in labor, human resources, and accounting, and was appointed as Executive Officer and General Manager of the General Affairs Department in 2012. 2016, he led the launch of "Yamada Shokai Holding" and subsequently experienced many M&As. 2024, he assumed his current position and is currently involved in new business creation for the entire group. In addition, he also serves as a director of the Aichi Prefecture Federation of Social Insurance Committees and as a councilor of the Aichi Prefecture Health Insurance Association.

In 2019, he joined the editorial board of incu-be, a research career support magazine for young researchers, and has been proposing the path of "commercialization" as a career option for young researchers. Currently, he belongs to the Human Resource Development Division, where he is engaged in various training programs and commercialization support with the theme of diversifying the way researchers live and work.
