On Saturday, February 14, 2026, “Kyoto Deep Tech Commercialization Support ProjectAs part of the 』 initiative, we held a presentation session for business ideas based on research findings from within Kyoto City.

In the Deep Tech Entrepreneur Development Program, several aspiring entrepreneurs have teamed up with six researchers to work on developing business ideas.
The final presentation was held with the aim of widely publicizing the results and engaging in in-depth, concrete discussions about the next steps toward commercialization.

On the day of the event, seasoned entrepreneurs from deep-tech startups and representatives from venture capital (VC) firms participated as commentators. They provided practical advice and insights that led to new perspectives in response to the participants’ presentations.
