In the early stages of a deep-tech startup, what matters most is not so much a match between a candidate’s background and skills or the precision of a business plan, but rather a mindset driven by a passion for applying science and technology to solve societal challenges—one that embraces continuous learning, adapts to change, and persists in taking on new challenges. For this reason, GERMINATION REACTOR builds management teams centered on educational programs designed to cultivate the mindset essential for entrepreneurs. It is a new venture-building program where researchers with promising research ideas and future entrepreneurial candidates learn together and explore concrete possibilities for starting a business.

This program is operated under the FY2026 “Support Program for Securing Management Talent at University-Spun-Off Startups (MPM)” funded by the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO).
